Are you looking for a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity? Ayers Rock Resort is searching for a Paintr Team Leader to live and work onsite at Yulara, NT which is 20 min drive from Uluru, one of Australia's most iconic and culturally significant landmarks.
We're seeking an Experienced Painter with Certificate III in Painting and Decorating Qualifications To lead and support the painting team in delivering high-quality finishes and protective coatings across all resort assets and infrastructure. This role ensures the timely completion of painting and surface maintenance projects while maintaining a safe work environment and upholding Voyages’ service standards and values.
We are extremely committed to the safety of our employees, guests and community who visit town, this also needs to be a strong focus of you too! As our town is spread across a large range of land, a Valid Australian Open Driver's License is required for all our trades roles.
Key Duties
You'll get a generous hourly rate, free accommodation at our contractor's camp with utilities included, as well as breakfast, lunch and dinner provided. You'll have access to the onsite gym and receive a contractor's card to visit our Outback Hotel on your days off.
This is a permanent opportunity as a FIFO Tradesperson, seeing you working 10-hour shifts.

Key Duties
- Coordinate and supervise day-to-day painting operations, including surface preparation, application, and finishing.
- Allocate tasks and monitor team performance to ensure high-quality workmanship and timely delivery.
- Conduct site inspections to assess paintwork requirements and support project planning with accurate reporting.
- Maintain inventory of painting materials and tools, ensuring safe use and proper storage in compliance with WHS.
- Provide training, mentoring, and support to team members, including onboarding of new painters and apprentices.
